Filling out an application can take up to 45 minutes to complete; but you can make this process faster by having your education, employment and certification history documents all together in advance to expedite your application process. 

Applications will be accepted until positions are filled. You will be contacted via email regarding the status of your application whether you have been selected or not to move forward in the process. We do not accept applications or resumes via email. All new employees regardless of status will be required to start their employment on either the 1st or 16th of the month. If the 1st or 16th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the start date will be moved to Friday or Monday, respectively. All employees will be required to attend a three-day new employee orientation that is held both in-person and virtually the first three business days of the month.

The VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) Coordinator assists survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking to understand and access VAWA Housing Protections and educates the community on best practices for effective and efficient VAWA Emergency Transfer processes.


SAFE Alliance seeks a Counselor (Bilingual) for the Community & Housing Services Program in the Counseling Services department. The Counselor (Bilingual) provides survivor-centered and trauma-informed intakes, clinical assessments, crisis intervention and ongoing counseling for adults, children, families, and groups in Spanish and English. The Counselor (Bilingual) also provides advocacy when appropriate.


Under the general direction of the SAFE Co-Chief Program Officer (Co-CPO), the Vice President Community Services oversees the Division of Community Service programs; these include Legal Services, Planet SAFE (a supervised visitation and exchange center), Forensic Nursing and Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy Programs. They also represent the agency in critical collaborations and community task forces.


The Sexual Assault Training Program & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the coordination, delivery, and tracking of all Office of the Attorney General - Sexual Assault Prevention and Crisis Services (OAG-SAPCS) State funded activities to all staff, interns, and volunteers. This includes coordinating and assisting with facilitation of the 40-hour Office of the Attorney General - Sexual Assault Training Program (OAG-SATP).

The Director of Major Gifts is a key member within the SAFE Development team, the Director of Major Gifts (DMG) is a dynamic and experienced fundraising professional responsible for managing the Major Gifts program within SAFE.


The Counseling Services Manager, (Bilingual) is responsible for the clinical and administrative supervision of the Counseling Services Program's counselors and interns. In conjunction with the Director of Counseling Services, this position is responsible for the administration and planning of the Counseling Services Program. The Counseling Services Manager, (Bilingual) is responsible for providing counseling and support in English and Spanish to survivors who have been exposed to sexual violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking.


A Planet SAFE Relief Guide provides coverage for services when necessary, when staff are out or program coverage is low. Planet SAFE offers supervised visitation and exchange services for families with a history of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse or stalking; and/or may operate the front desk, and support staff as needed.
