If the 1st or 16th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the start date will be moved to Friday or Monday, respectively. All employees will be required to attend a three-day new employee orientation that is held both in-person and virtually the first three business days of the month.

New Posting Sexual Assault Victim Advocate - Grove Campus

The Sexual Assault Victim Advocate provides medical and legal accompaniment, advocacy, and follow-up services to survivors of sexual assault. Advocates are dispatched to any medical facility in Travis County and must present to accompaniment site within one hour of dispatch.


Under the general direction of the Operations Director, this position is responsible for administrative support of the operations department and reception coverage. This position will work 40 hours each week supporting the operational needs and covering time off throughout the Operations Team.

New Posting Youth Rapid Rehousing Advocate - Grove

The Youth Rapid Rehousing Advocate will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides home based case management, service coordination, rental assistance and empowerment-based skill building to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking who are experiencing homelessness. The function of the Youth Rapid Rehousing Advocate is to serve survivors who are homeless by helping them access and coordinate essential services to leave homelessness, maintain safety in permanent housing, and finally help them maintain that permanent housing and achieve self-sufficiency.


The Sexual Assault Victim Advocate PRN provides face-to-face crisis intervention and support, discuss medical and legal options, and explain SAFE Alliance support services (such as counseling, legal advocacy and follow-up services). PRN Advocates are dispatched to any medical facility in Travis County. Present to accompaniment site within one hour of dispatch.


Under the general direction of the Resident Advisor Program Manager, the Client Support Coordinator will provide admission support, coordination and other client support services for the Community Shelter. The coordinator will do mobile and remote work to provide services to clients in the community shelter program.


Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Family & Community Shelter, the Residential Counselor provides trauma informed, strengths based individual, group, and family counseling to adult and child survivors of sexual and domestic violence. The Residential Counselor will provide support to clients on both the SAFE Grove Campus Family Shelter & Community Shelter Program.


The Shelter Advocate is responsible for serving as a source of support person to women, men and their children survivors or domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuser or human trafficking living in the shelter by providing them with the information, referrals and support necessary for them to meet their basic needs, assist with a comfortable shelter stay and refer to internal and external services that will help with the achievement of their self-sufficiency plan and personal safety.


The Youth Housing Navigator is responsible for identifying youth homeless survivors of abuse and complete confidential coordinated assessments for housing along with individual housing stability case management with foster care involvement youths; including help to secure permanent housing, community outreach and connect youth to community resources.

The Resident advisor works to maintain a welcoming shelter to ensure a safe emergency shelter environment for our survivors of all genders escaping domestic and sexual violence.

The Shelter manager collaborates with a team of managers (client support services, operations and data collection, entry and quality assurance) who are responsible for the direct supervision of the Resident Advisor Team & Housekeeper at Family Shelter. The position is responsible for implementing best practices and will work in close collaborations with other shelter managers and the director, around client services, data collection/intake, client safety and other shelter operations.


SAFE Alliance seeks a Counselor (Bilingual) for the Community & Housing Services Program in the Counseling Services department. The Counselor (Bilingual) provides survivor-centered and trauma-informed intakes, clinical assessments, crisis intervention and ongoing counseling for adults, children, families, and groups in Spanish and English. The Counselor (Bilingual) also provides advocacy when appropriate.


The Sexual Assault Training Program & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the coordination, delivery, and tracking of all Office of the Attorney General - Sexual Assault Prevention and Crisis Services (OAG-SAPCS) State funded activities to all staff, interns, and volunteers. This includes coordinating and assisting with facilitation of the 40-hour Office of the Attorney General - Sexual Assault Training Program (OAG-SATP).

The Bilingual Shelter Manager collaborates with a team of managers (client support services, operations and data collection, entry and quality assurance) who are responsible for the direct supervision of the Resident Advisor Team & Housekeeper at Family Shelter. In conjunction with the Director of Counseling Services, this position is responsible for the administration and planning of the Counseling Services Program. The Counseling Services Manager, (Bilingual) is responsible for providing counseling and support in English and Spanish to survivors who have been exposed to sexual violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking.
